Our lawn program uses six applications to promote a healthy lawn and treat common weeds throughout the year. We use a granular fertilizer to allow for a slow release of nutrients into the lawn and eliminate excessive run-off chemicals.
Early Spring Application — complete granular fertilizer, pre-emergent crabgrass control, and broadleaf weed spot-spraying
Late Spring Application — complete granular fertilizer and broadleaf weed spot-spraying
Summer application — complete granular fertilizer (to maintain color without forcing growth), webworm and grub worm control, and broadleaf weed spot-spraying
Late summer Application — complete granular fertilizer and broadleaf weed spot-spraying
Fall Application — complete granular fertilizer (to encourage new root growth) and broadleaf weed spot-spraying
Winter Application — complete granular fertilizer with a slow-release nitrogen component to enable your lawn to green up quickly come spring
Our tree and shrub program consists of five steps, and is focused on the promotion of plant growth and preventative treatment for common insects and diseases.
Spring fertilization — complete fertilizer to encourage shoot and stem growth, improve size and color of leaves and flowers, and assist in plant recovery caused by winter's low temperatures, winds, and frosts
Early summer insect and disease — chemical controls for aphids, scale, sawflies, tent caterpillars, apple scab, leaf spot, and fire blight
Summer insect and disease — chemical controls for Japanese beetles, mites, and needle blight
Late summer insect and disease — chemical controls for bagworms, fall webworms, leaf spot, and powdery mildew
Fall fertilization — complete fertilizer, focusing on the promotion of root growth going into the winter months
